The Farm. In a real working farm of about 45 acres, we have rebuilt a wonderful old farmstead that will give our guest the possibility to live in a warm family atmosphere that is typical of Sicilian farm life. The farm situated on a hill 350 metres above sea level, is 33 km from Agrigento and about 13 km from Naro, Licata and Palma di Montechiaro, all a little towns rich in history, culture and monuments Ours is the first school of farming on the island that has been recognised by the local regional autority. It has a dairy and kitchens that produce bread, wine, honey and many other home-made things.  It is possible to do horse riding, mountain bike rides, bowling and archery. If you want to relax we have a confortable room where you can read, listen to music, watch tv or play table games. You can also buy home-made products. There are 5 self-contained bedroom, and a museum of agricultural art. Guest can take part in farm work. To reach us, guests must take the ss. 115 Palma di Montechiaro-Licata and at 216 km take the sp 63 to Campobello di Licata, and we are at about 7 km. Follow the signs to "Fattoria Vassallo". |
